ESU (Extended Security Updated) availability after January 2023 for AX

If we let a BREP expire and purchase cloud migration licences (D365 Finance) this year - will this entitle us to extended of ESU support for AX 2012/R3 after Jan 2023?

The migration project will not be complete by Jan 2023 (maybe not until 2024)

Other companies must be in a similar position?

Hi Caimin,

To my understanding, there are no alternative options for ESU post January 2023 being provided by Microsoft for Dynamics AX. I'd highly recommend speaking to your Microsoft representative to discuss the best strategy for your organization going forward. Microsoft is providing multiple offers to support organizations transition to the cloud.
