Single activity Id for multiple legal entities in recurring integrations export job

Hi All,

Is it possible to export data from multiple legal entities through dequeue job using single activity Id used for an entity in recurring integrations of D365F&O?

On your data project, setup applicable entities and then setup your recurring job

Hi Rahul,

With applicable legal entities, I am able to mention legal entities but by default it is set as all. But I am unable to manage it with single activity id for multiple legal entities. Still I have to create multiple activity ids within same export project.

You can manage with Single activity Id for multiple legal entities and pass parameter legal entity in the endpoint so that request will get landed in the company.

here is example

Hi Sukrut,

Could you please mention the procedure of passing legal entity as parameter in dequeue job(API) to create export job with single entity that can be used to export data from multiple legal entities? For import job(enqueue) I know that, data can be inserted to multiple legal entities using single activity Id and legal entity as parameter.

I haven't tried that using recurring integration API. you should look in to data management package API which gives you flexibility to add legalEntityID for export function.

Hi Sukrut,

Yes, using data management API we can access data export job to export data from multiple legal entities using legal entity as parameter. But my query was for recurring integration job using dequeue API only.

This is an old thread, but you can use same activity Id for multiple legal entities in recurring integrations export if you just copy the processing and monitoring batch jobs to the other legal entities that you want to use
