Hello

My Management Reporter 2012 - CU16 is getting info slowly from server. Any idea why it is so?
most time getting lost with RST, ACK flagged package.

PS! Wireshark also shows TCP: Duplicate ACK - 427 times

1. What is the issue as perceived by a user? For example: is the data mart updating slowly; are users having slowness issues with Report Designer, Report Viewer or the web viewer; is a report generating slowly? Please provide some additional context.

2. What is the full version number of your MR installation? There are several versions of CU16. Go to Help | About and list the full version number.

3. Have you identified slowness anywhere such as in SQL?

4. Does the environment meet the system requirements for your size of the data mart?

5. When did this issue first start happening?

6. Has this ever worked successfully?

7. What has changed recently?

8. Can the same issue be re-created in a separate environment?

Hi RaitKivinurm,

If your MR and AX databases both are on same server then you better investigate disk space as a bottleneck.

Can you also check In MR 2012 configuration console view log files created by data mart. Check if there are any errors. If there are errors then those need to be resolved. There could be many causes of slowness.

Hi Rait,

I have no idea what table you pasted in your question. What is it about? Have you looked at performance counters of the SQL server and verified if the hardware resources are not a bottleneck?

What CU did you run before? Did you only update management reporter with the same database settings as before or setup a new SQL instance on another server or used other database settings?

Hello Rait,

Where do you have that data from and was the MR faster previously?

Probably try to contact MS support directly; they can get access to your system via screensharing and have a closer look.
