Using This Site With Internet Explorer 9

Recently I get numerous warnings when browsing this forum with IE 9, with warnings related to blocked site content due to certificate errors and only secure content being displayed.  I've added both the http and https URLs to trusted sites and attempted to download and install the cert to no avail.  (Adding both URLs actually causes an additional warning to appear upon site load.)  I typically use Chrome but IE seems to play better with sites that use live.com authentication.  Does anyone else experience this and is there a fix?
