All Integration Manager service packs and hotfixes are independent of the Microsoft Dynamics GP service packs and hotfixes, therefore you do not need to be on matching service pack or hotfix version numbers between Microsoft Dynamics GP and Integration Manager.
The GP 2018 R2 installer will automatically take care of updating any necessary eConnect components for you. Be sure to back up any custom eConnect PRE or POST stored procedures before applying the update.
