When attempting to print a pay stub receiving an error stating that Internet Explorer has stopped working and the program closes. Any solution?

Patty,
IE closing could be caused by a number of reasons. What version of IE are you running? Do you have the most up to date version of Silverlight installed on the workstation? Does this happen for all users? Does this happen if you run IE as Administrator? Have you tried running IE in Safe mode to ensure that another add-on is not creating the conflict? If you are unsure on the safe mode for IE you can do so by using the following command.
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -extoff
*I make the assumption that your system drive is C:\ if it is different then you will need to change the drive letter to reflect accordingly.
The issue was IE11. It didn’t work with IE10 so discovered that need to use IE9. It now works.
Hi Patt,
Business Portal is a pretty outdated product and depending on which version of SharePoint you're running on, it may not support the most recent versions of IE... have had a few users with issues as well..
Luckily Microsoft is phasing that out and will replace all the functions in BP with GP2015 thru the full client and/or the Web client in GP.
