Mapping Account Address, Phone, and Fax Fields to Quotes

Hello Dynamics Community,

I am currently trying to map Account fields directly onto a quote when I create a new quote on an opportunity.

The account ID is linked but the address phone and fax fields are not displaying on the quote form even though I have mapped them.

The Account itself does map properly however.

Please see attached pictures:

What am I doing wrong?

    Hi,

    you are creating the mapping between account and quote, so in order for this mapping to work, you have to create quote from account.

    Hi,

    So if you are creating quote from opportunity, go for workflow or plugin. More information you can refer below post.

    Hi

    Mapping works when you create the child record from the parent. In this case, if you create the Quote record from Account (either from subgrid or related entity), you will get the required fields mapped.
