Alternate key status pending for Accounts entity field account number

Alternate key created on accounts entity for account number field but the status always showing as pending we tried many times by deleting and creating again and also Unable to check the status in system jobs. Attaching screen shots for reference.

    Hi Shaik,

    As Mehdi said, the prerequisite for successful activation of alternate key is that there are no duplicate records, otherwise the activation will fail. So what we need to do now is to detect and merge duplicate records.

    Hi, 

    I saw that you are using emailadress1 field as an alternate key. Please check if there are any duplicate account with same email. 

    Since creating an alternate key essentially creates indexing on the table in the database. It will fail if duplicate records are already there.
