Is there a way to prevent the partial sale of an item? We had an incident where a cashier sold .2 of an item instead of 2 of the same item. I know this is user error, but is there a setting in RMS that prevents the sale of any item that is not a whole number? We never sell part of an item...

You would need to have a custom addon created to handle this type of require.

Or you can simply lock the quantity field on the pos transaction screen. To achieve the security lock, search the interactive help guide for security. It does a nice job of describing the process.

This would keep cashiers from typing anything into the quantity field.

best way to control this issue using barcode labels on items. RMS not control to transact some item on POS you can prevent some items to be transacted using block feature.
