Recently installed Ribbon Workbench, and I can't figure out what are Homepage Grid, subgrid and form reffering to.

So when I open ribbon workbench I can apparently custom 3 different ribbons, Homepage Grid, SubGrid and Form, but I don't which one is the one I need, could you tell me what these names reffer to

Subgrid is nothing but content of child records which basically show in the parent entity record update form.

Let's say you have entity country having 1:N relationship with city entity . You need to show all the city for particular country when you want view any country in that scenario you need subgrid.

Hi,

Its depends on where you want to add the button ,

Homepage Grid - Means if you want to display in the main entity list or when you navigate to the entity.

SubGrid - When you want related entity subgrid button , lets say you have a contact and having multiple address subgrid in the Update form , so you want to add button on top of subgrid in the contact form. It will show in the form itself on top of subgrid.

Form - Means if you want to display button in the Create or Update form in the top ribbon area.
