I have a Financial Trial Balance Report available in Company A, how can I also make this available in Company B without having to reconstruct it long hand?

Note, we have multiple companies setup on GP

Hi JDOC,

May I ask in what tool that report was written ? is it a customized GP report writer document ? is it a SSRS report ? an Excel report ? or any other 3rd party (JetExpress or CrystalReport)..

Depending on your answer, the actions to take may vary quite a bit..

I did that, using Method 1, but I still don't see the report on the destination Company, oddly other Reports in the Financial - TB - Summary section I see, but not in the Worksheet section

I've copied from a Company where I do see and have access to this Worksheet Report

Method 1: You can do this via User Security Setup (Administration > System > User Security). Choose the user and company the report is showing up on. Click the Copy button and copy the user security across other companies.

Method 2: Create a security task containing the GL Trial Balance security operation. Assign this security task to the security role pertaining to all the users who need to run the report.
