Microsoft Dynamics GP Workflow Email Issues

I have 3 main issues with Purchase Requisition workflow email as follows:-

1- Last comment is not shown on the email. It gets all comments right except the last approver comment.

2- Purchase Requisition Link opens only in Desktop Client but doesn't open in web client.

3- Decimal places are shown as 5 decimal places. I need to see if there is anyway I can change that to show only 2 decimal places.

For issue 1: Do you mean the comment you can enter before clicking the submit button in the workflow action window? If so, the field lets you enter a large amount of characters (about 2000) but the field in the table is fairly small (255) so it's easy for the comment to be truncated.

For issue 2: To get the Edit/View links to work, the approver must be logged into the exact company in Dynamics GP that the email and workflow are from, whether using Web Client or regular Dynamics GP, because all the Edit/View link is going to do is open the window with that workflow information pulled up. For example, if the approval email is for a purchase order, the Edit/View link would pull up the PO Entry window, with that specific purchase order selected, so the approver can view the PO before taking action on it.

For issue 3: This pulls raw data so the amount will show 5 decimal places unfortunately as that is the number of decimals in the table for currency fields.

SMTP Email Address' Sent folder If the workflow emails are not showing in the Sent folder, then it may be an issue of the emails not being sent out from Dynamics GP and that needs to be addressed.

For issue 1: I understand that limitation but this is not the exact issue. I will give an example to explain, assume we have 4 approvers each of them approves and comments before submitting the action. Once the email reaches the 4th approver it will only include comments from the first & second approvers but the third approver comment won't be included in the email. so it always shows all comments accurately except the comment from the previous step.

For issue 2: I understand that the approver must be logged into the exact company in dynamics GP and this is what actually happens but the issue is that the drill back functionality only works in regular Dynamics GP and the window opens successfully. It's not the same when using Web Client, the drill back functionality doesn't work so clicking the hyperlink doesn't take you anywhere as a connection to Microsoft Dynamics GP cannot be established.

For issue 3: I agree with you and I got the same conclusion but I was really hoping to find anyway to customize the currency fields in the email because even though the workflow cycle works like charm and totally fits the customer needs but they always comment on issues like this one.
