I am trying to create a list of contacts that are in a segment. When I go to Advanced Find, I query Contacts where SegmentMember contains data. Regardless of how I try to use SegmentMember, it doesn't work - it never returns a list of Contacts. Thoughts on why?
Hi Stephani, how are you?
Stephani, do you have any contact with this attribute filled?
Also, it is important to check if you have the permission to see those records.
Is it possible to do a search whithout this filter and add this column on results by clicking on edit columns?
Regards.

Hi Stephani,
please explain, what are you trying to achieve. It looks like you need to retrieve a list of members for a specific segment. Is that correct?
What is your final goal? It's hard to advise without understanding.

Hi Rodrigo,
Yes, I have many segments filled with members.
Yes, I have permission to see the records.
So, when I add this column to a view - it shows empty for everyone. Shouldn't it show what segments the member is in?
My goal is to see all Contacts in at least 1 segment and all Contacts in 0 segments.
Hi again, Stephani,
SegmentMember is an internal field and it doesn't contain information you're looking for. There is no attribute that defines whether a contact is related to a segment or not. - so, I'm afraid, there is no straightforward way to achieve your goal.
Hi Stephani, thanks for the information.
Please check if the attribute is filled like the sample below
And check if the permission on the Segment entity was added on the security role assigned to the user who is getting the issue.
With the correct permission I can see the results
Have the same issue! Could you explain how you get that information @Rodrigo Hentz? Can't relate to your screenshots - not really clear.
Looking for Entity: Contact
SegmentMember: equal - Choose name of the Segment:
-> there should show me all SegmentMember of the Segment i chose. Doesnt work.
Same issue :(
SOLUTION FOUND:
Look for: Contacts
-> pick up the "Related" Entities:
SegmentMember : Contains Data
Segment: Equals : Choose Value - choose your segment.
Voila it works :D
