ODC file via Excel Report Builder > Publish Report: Cannot utilize as data source

Hello,

I am attempting to utilize a Data Connection created within MS GP's Excel Report Builder's "Publish Report" function.

The .odc file is published successfully and appears in the correct SharePoint library.

However, when I attempt to utilize that .odc file as a Report Data Source in Microsoft Report Builder (as referenced in this MS How To article: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb326418.aspx) I receive the following error when testing the connection:

I receive this error when attempting to utilize any .odc file generated from Microsoft GP as a data source.

Are .odc files created by Microsoft Dynamics GP not able to be used as data sources? The publish report function includes no connection string or credential parameters so am assuming I'm either missing something or there is no way to configure such(?)
