Environment:
As part of integration CRM 2013 with Exchange online we used server side synchronization.
We use smart cards for "single sign on" authentication.
Settings:
In The Email Server profile, for Authentication we use option "Credentials specified by user or Queue".
Primary reason to use the above option because as per our company policy, for service account should not have impersonation permission due of security reasons. So each user has to enter his/her credentials into their corresponding mailboxes.
Question:
Because we are using smart cards and user doesn't know his/her credentials, how can CRM(mailbox) can pick up credentials from smart card?
