Hello all,
To give background the company I work for manufactures small engine equipment and sells directly to ourselves on the retail side. Our customer is only the retail stores and end users. It is a fairly large company and we are struggling with the quality management system in D365 F&O.
I have been trying to figure out the quality management system in Dynamics F&O for the last 3 months and turning to people outside my organization. We currently utilize the Quality function for Quality Associations and orders. I'd like to start utilizing the Quailty Nonconformances but from what I'm seeing is a major gap in the system. I'd like to have it place inventory that is set up on a nonconformance into our quarantine warehouse essentially removing it from available stock. Likewise when a quality order has had the corrective actions completed (product was reworked or determined to not be a nonconformance) we would place it back into active inventory. The other side of things I'm hoping we can do is relieve inventory when parts are needed to do the rework.
Another area is operations applied to rework. Is there a report the Supervisors would be able to pull daily to see the cost of rework and cost of scrap or better yet a total CoPQ calculated out of D365? I'm probably asking for more than the system is built for.
Is there a way to setup the quality management system to handle these operations?
