We recently upgraded a client from Business Portal's Requisition Manager to the GP 2016 Requisition workflow. It's working OK but a recent request came up from them that they would like an email notification back to the requestor once the Req has been "Purchased" and the email needs to include the Req number and the PO number. I don't see that as an option - any suggestion on how I could get around that? I thought about Business Alerts but I would have to create a separate alert for each person.

Hi Bob,
This is unfortunately not an option.. As Mike said, you could try to setup a trigger in SQL.. but that's always kind of funky because when new updates are applied, it might wipe them out.
You could post a suggestion on MS Connect to add a feature to return the PO # to the requisition once it was transferred into a PO, something that most 3-rd party procurement system do already..
I would think that you could create an SQL trigger that sends an email. The trigger would detect when the Requisition status changed to a new PO
