Set up my development environment without license

Hi,

I'm brand-new in MS Dynamics CRM, want to learn how to develop on the top of it. Collected many study materials for preparing playing in MS Dynamics CRM, but stuck in setting up my development environment.

My problem is: know from <Programming Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0>, i need buy one version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, but i don't want cost the money for it. could you please give me some advice to set up my environment without any cost? Really want to start my trip here!

    & if i use virtual machine for all components of MS Dynamics CRM (such as web server, sql server, sql reporting server, AD), will it works?
