I've tried a number of different approaches for this. Does anyone know the correct steps for setting up the 4-4-5 week calendar in F&O? Thanks

Setup 4-4-5 Fiscal calendar

Hello I am trying to set up for a brand-new legal entity in GOLD environment. I need to set up for 4-4-5 Fiscal calendar starting from year 2022. I too have tried many methods, but i am unable to edit the Start and End date of calendar. Below is the required dates per period i need to set up. Any guidance helps. thank you

Period 1: January 1, 2022 - January 28, 2022 (4 weeks)

Period 2: January 29, 2022 - February 25, 2022 (4 weeks)

Period 3: February 26, 2022 - April 1, 2022 (5 weeks)

Period 4: April 2, 2022 - April 29, 2022 (4 weeks)

Period 5: April 30, 2022 - May 27, 2022 (4 weeks)

Period 6: May 28, 2022 - July 1, 2022 (5 weeks)

Period 7: July 2, 2022 - July 29, 2022 (4 weeks)

Period 8: July 30, 2022 - August 26, 2022 (4 weeks)

Period 9: August 27, 2022 - September 30, 2022 (5 weeks)

Period 10: October 1, 2022 - October 28, 2022 (4 weeks)

Period 11: October 29, 2022 - November 25, 2022 (4 weeks)

Period 12: November 26, 2022 - December 30, 2022 (5 weeks)

Works like a charm. The only thing I would note, for others' benefit, is don't try to set the Quarter setting until you have all the periods created. Then, you have to start at the bottom, with the last period, set all the periods to Quarter 2, up to the 4th period in the year, then set all the periods to Quarter 3, up to the 7th period, then set Quarter 4 up to the 10th period. Why it works this way, I don't know. If you try to set from the top down, you'll get an error message saying that Quarter 2, 3, 4 is being set out of sequence.

Hi Frank,

1 - Create a new fiscal calendar;

Calendar 445

Fiscal year name 2022

Length of period 1

Unit years

2 - Create a new fiscal year

3 - Set up the first period as opening and the third as closing

4 - Divide de Period 1 - repeat it until you have all 12 periods

Update the Month and Quarter column during the dividing
