Hi,

I have a axapta 2009 client where i can edit the settings in the mainwindow.

My question is: Where and in which files are these changes stored?

This is because i want to make a .bat or .msi file which does this automaticlly.

Please help.

Best regards

Brian Petersen

    Hi Brian,

Are you using AS400 as operating system or something like that? I can't understand the non English printscreens. (I believe it is Danish?). But I think it has no relation with the Dynamics AX2009 product itself.

    Hello DFBDP!

I am not sure if this is the answer you need but i will try it anyway!

As you told, you have a AX2009 client, right?

Usually the configuration for the original configuration file are saved int the Windows Registry, under the following key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Dynamics\5.0\Configuration\Original (installed configuration)

When you create a new configuration file it is saved in a .AXC extension file, the location of this file is determined by you.

Another place to look for "usersettings" is searching at the USERINFO table into the AX Database.

    Hope it help you!
