I'm trying to create a new company in GP 9.0 Utilities but there is no option to create a new company in the Additional Tasks window, drop down list. There are four options in the dropdown: Register, Remove SOP, Update, and Synchronize. From my research, this is the only place to create a new company. Why isn't this option included in the dropdown?

I would recommend upgrading to a supported version of GP as 9 has not been supported very almost 2 years now.

Yes. Typically on Version 9 when going through the installation you would mark the 'Client' install option from the CD and install that on the Workstations. And you would mark the 'Client/Server' install option from the CD on the Server. You need that 'Server' install to create a new company. So yes you want to run Utilities on the Server and hopefully that was installed properly and gives you the option.
I am running the utilities from a client install. I do have access to the server install, is this where i need to be?

Are you running Utilities from a Client install or a Server install? I think they were different on GP9 and that changed from GP10 forward and it's all the same now.
