Dependency Calculation Error

Hi all, 

I am having a strange error "Dependency Calculation Error" when I am trying to publish a solution.

"There was an error calculating dependencies for this component. Missing component id {0}"

I have two environments: Development & Live.

I had exported a solution from Development and Imported the solution to Live.

But when I am trying to publish the solution I am getting the dependency calculation error.

Anyone came across such a situation?

Any help / guide to resolve this is greatly appreciated.

    It might be because of “customcontroldefaultconfig” component. Please visit the below links:

    Hello,

    Take the guid from the error and search for it in the Cusstomizations.xml file where you will find to which component it belongs and thus you can define whether you need this componenent to be added to the solution for deployment on PROD or remove it from the DEV solution.
