Postal codes and zip codes for D365F&O

Hello dear community !! D365F&O

We have more than 200 entities in our implementation.coverimg Canada, USA, France, China, Singapore, Mexico, Sydney, India, etc. locations. 

Is there a way to import postal codes/zip codes from a service. I believe Microsoft does not supply them by default or is there a way to get them ? I have searched posts in the community, but have not found the solution. 

Any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated to facilitate vendor/customer creation/import.

    Hi rmorin,

    There are options to import Postal codes in the application. There is support for the formats from some countries, like the Netherlands. Anyway, you need a subscription to a service per country or contact global address service providers like Melissa.com or Data-8.

    Besides importing them all, you can also consider using the APIs from e.g. Melissa.com or Data-8 to check or auto complete addresses including the postal codes. This would require a customization in your environment or have a look at our Data Quality Studio solution at To-Increase where it is possible to configure web services to connect with address, phone, email and VAT number services online.

    Hello Rmorin,

    You can either import Zip code via an API(Integration) or using Data management. Personally, I would not advice the integration approach since you are bringing in this data just once.

    For data management, make use of the entity "Postal codes V3".
