GP 10 SSRS Reports upgrade to GP2010

Hello,

We need to upgrade all SSRS reports from GP10 to GP2010.  We are also going from SQL 2005 to SQL 2008.  Do I need to deploy each report to the new server (2008) one by one to upgrade them or is there an easiar way?

    Tremor,

    No, the GP10 tool will only install GP10 reports.  What version of Dynamics GP 2010 did you install?  If it is Dynamics GP 2010 SP2 or greater, than you will deploy reports from within Dynamics GP (Tools > Setup > Reporting Tools Setup).

    When I launch the GP10 install setup, the SSRS wizard is available to install.  It is not there when I launch GP2010 install setup.   Can I use that to deploy reports to GP2010?

    Thanks Rob!  For some reason I am not seeing it as one of the my options to install.  I downloaded the install (MDGP2010_DVD_withHotfixKB2731285_ENUS) from customersource and SSRS wizard is not available.  I will try to download another install file.  Thanks again!

    Tremor,

    If you open the install media (launch through setup.exe), you'll see an option of "SQL Server Reporting Services Wizard".  You'll need to install this tool, which you'll then use to deploy the GP 2010 SRS reports.

    Thanks for responding Rob.  I have already upgraded GP10 to GP2010.  It is currently running on the SQL Server 2008 R2.  SQL Server Reporting Services has been deployed and I just need to deploy the GP SSRS reports to the new server.  There are some customized reports and I can move those individually, but not sure how to deploy the SSRS reports from GP2010.  Where is the SSRS deployment wizard located?  Appreciate your help.

    Tremor,

    Could you be more specific?  

    Have you finished your upgrade from GP10 to GP 2010?  Are you looking to simply overwrite the current GP10 reports with GP 2010 reports, or have you made modifications and need to save them?  There is a srs deployment wizard that will deploy reports for you.  I would recommend making your move from SQL 2005 to SQL 2008 first.  This will enable you to get the new reports that have a SQL 2008 dependency.
