Has anyone done an IBM Infinium to GP 2010 conversion. I am getting no help from their Infinium staff so I am on my own. I am trying to at least get text files of master and transactional information. My client thinks there is some conversion tool and you just push a button. I am trying to convince them that this is not the case. So I thought I would at least ask the group.

Hi Richard. Have you been able to resolve this issue? We specialize in working with Infinium and are the largest Independent Infinium resources provider. We are currently assisting one of our clients with their conversion from Infinium to GP. If you are looking to extract Infinium data, data can be extracted into a fixed record length file. It will still of course require conversion programming. Our consultants all have 10 years plus of experience with Infinium. If you find a magic button, you should sell it. Thanks Jonathan, but the client thinks there is a button you push and the data magically comes out of Infinium and into GP. I am pleading with the IBM firm handling this account and as usual, they are less than helpful. The best I am hoping for is a bunch of text files. I will start with master information and then move on to transactions.
There is a rapid migration tool Richard but I do not believe that works with IBM Infinium.
