I am not a developer and I have downloaded the SDK package but do not understand how I can use it
I was hoping that I could use it to have a look at the mail merge templates.
I want to be able to at least see the backend forms but do not know even where to start.
any links or dummies guides would be greatly appreciated

Please see the sample code inside the downloaded sdk folder (sdk\server\howto) or Sample codes in crmsdk4.chm help file.
create a new project winform or web project add sdk reference dll from (sdk\bin) folder and start coding
