Business Portal Dynamics GP WSS 3.0 Restore to new server

We are trying to move a BP 4.0 GP 10 setup to a new server while upgrading the SQL database to 2008 at the same time. We created the Sharepoint Config database, then created an empty BP Content database, restored on top of the content database, now when trying to run the BP Prerequisities routines, it tells us Object Reference not set to an instance of an object and bombs out. We've created the BP web site and application pool but can't get past this issue on the new server.

    Henry,

Are you running the BP Prerequisite Checker?  If yes, I'd recommend moving on to the BP install.  The PreReq checker doesn't always return the most useful information.

Are you trying to maintain customizations that you made in SharePoint on the old web server?

    Thanks

    Rob

Did you follow all the steps in the following KB?

    Thanks,
