Rename standard ribbon button

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to change the label of the standard ribbon button "close quote"? I am not able to change it with the visual ribbon editor.

Hi,

You can use XrmToolkit for this purpose.It should work.

Hi Pierre,

You export the default solution and change the label name then import it.

Unfortunately, I am not able to find any reference to standard close quote button on the default solution xml.

I also tried to find it in translation without success.

In a general way, where can I find that kind of ressource: "$Resources:Ribbon.Form.quote.MainTab.Actions.CloseQuote"

Hi Pierre,

Once you say 'not be able to change it with the visual ribbon editor', do you mean you have retrieved the ribbon and publish it but nothing happened?

Please try these steps:

1. Create new unmanaged solution

2. add the entity: Quote as the solution component part

3. Assuming you have imported the ribbon workbench in your CRM org then you just double click and then you just open your solution created from #1

4. in the ribbon workbench, go to the entity: Quote then you select your ribbon, right click, customize command

5. In the right side you will be able to see the Title or label, you can then just rename it

6. Save and publish all customizations.
