I cannot create a sales order in the sales and marketing module which is linked to a project as the field seems to be greyed out.
My initial thoughts were this is just standard Ax logic, Everything that is processed though a project can only be done through project invoice functionality, however I am able to created a free text invoice to a project so this contradicts my initial conclusion.
Can anyone please shed any light on why this is the case?
We have 2 distinct areas of the business, the first being related to projects (all dealt with in the project module) and the second in relation to events and catering (all dealt with in the sales and marketing module).
From time to time our events team may hire rooms out etc which need to be charged to a project, we need it to show in the projects module but also want to show the sales order in the sales and marketing module, without having to create a project sales order.
Any help will be much appreciated.
