We want to be able to look at the Current Picklist Variance whne we close a MO.
If, while creating a PickDoc for issuing on Manufacturing Component Transaction Window, we alter the qtys (say instead of 5 and 7 we change to 6 and 9) we will be able to see the Current Picklist Variance on the Order Variance Inquiry.
However if we have already issued all the items on the current picklist I cannot issue more on the Manufacturing Component Transaction Window.
I get a select an item record first and no matter how hard I've looked around there is no way I can issue more. So I have to go, edit the picklist and then go and issue more. The problem with this is that I will not ba able to see the Current Picklist Variance on the Order Variance Inquiry,
Now, you can argue that this helps control (cant issue whats not on the Picklist) but then why I am allowed to edit the PickDoc to Issue more on the first place?
Any ideas are welcomed!
