Dynamics CRM Calendar Sharing and Management

Hello,

My company is currently migrating to Microsoft Dynamics CRM. The current software we are using has built in calendars (separate from outlook) and the managers and admins are able to view everyone's calendars with all their appointments, calls, meetings, ect. We have discovered this is not a function in dynamics as you can only view your own calendar. Our admins and manager team use these calendar views quite frequently right now to deal with Vacation time, expenses, and other information. I know a lot of this information can be queried via activities in Dynamics CRM however, I was wondering if anyone is aware of any other options that would include a calendar view. If possible we would like to keep the functionality of our admin and managers being able to view any of the calendars of our sales guys. It has come up that each calendar can be synced to outlook and shared that way but I am nervous about sharing 60+ calendars to one user account.  Please let me know if you have any suggestions or ideas.

Cheers,

Zack

    Hey Zack,

I myself would be interested to know what others have done for my own knowledge. The Calendar Entity is rarely used in my opinion, so customizations I feel are going to be hard to come by. If purchasing is an option, I would look into something like this: https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/dynamics-365/biztechcs.all-in-one-calendar?tab=Overview

That specific ISV looks to offer all the features you wanted it should integrate nicely with your CRM.

    Curtis,

I appreciate the paid option. I think we are trying to stick to a free option but I will definitely check it out!

    Cheers
