GP Security Error: The user could not be added to one or more databases

I am getting the below error when trying to give access to the Test companies for a single user.  Only one user is affected, but this user can receive access for the live companies.

Does anyone have any troubleshooting suggestions?  I found something online that has to do with verifying SQL Server setup, but the link with instructions is no longer available.  I don't receive my SQL Server query training until November.   Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi ecujak

Check that the DYNSA owns the DYNAMICS and company databases.

If not, change the db owner to DYNSA.

In SQL Mgt studio, check under Properties > User Mapping. The default schema should be dbo for your user.
