Hyperlink in Email template

Hi ,

I wanted to add hyperlink to record URL in an email template.

in order to do so i have created a workflow which (on create of record ) stores the record URL in a field of type URL.This field i have added to my email template,however it is displayed as plain text.

i have tried anchor tag<A>,hyperlink tag<Hyperlink> but i am still not able to convert it into hyperlink as anything after the dynamic field is displayed as it is.

i am using online CRM .

please help

Hi,

You don't need to build the URL for a record, there's a Dynamic value available in the workflow that you can insert into the template. Try using that instead of your text field and that should work.

i am sending the mail through plugin and custom workflow activities

hence i need it to be on actual template.

Hi,

I keep following value in a "single line of text" field and send email using template from my plugin. The output i get is a hyperlink showing "Click Here" text.

<a href= 'http://www.adonext.com'>Click Here</a>

So try keeping the full anchor tag in the text field and see if it works.
