Dear All,

Dynamics 365 F&O

I export data from data management in Excel. Here using Totally 7 Entity.

I want to import same data another 6 Entity. how to import another 6 Entity?

Hi AbdulBari，

Can you elaborate on your needs? Did you export seven entities to seven excels or one excel at the same time? What do you mean by importing six entities? Does these 6 entity belong to 7entities?

One Excel sheet import to 6 Entities. But here not showing other Entity. How to select entity in Import?

Hi Bari,

There are two options to it:

1. You manual import same data to different entities by selecting respective Legal entity before opening data management work space

2. Other and better option is , if you have same data to import in other legal entities as well, than use "Copy into Legal Entity option".

You can select the source Legal entity and Destination(Multiple Legal entity in one Go". After that select Data entities from which you want to copy the data.

Hi Abdul,

If your question is about having 1 sheet imported into 6 or 7 entities:

You can considering using the same Excel sheet for multiple entities. You can also use a Power Automate flow to read one Excel file and process multiple insert or update actions per Excel row into multiple data entities.

If you export from Finance and Operations, it will create a separate file per entity. In that case, you can download a data package and import that data package at once. The file then has a descriptor which tells what file contains what data.

Hi Saurabh Bharati,

I try to Copy into legal entity, its not available in data is showing 0, but status is Succeeded. (GL - > Accrual Scheme ). other thing is working well in copy into legal entity

after then i export to 1 entity in excel file. open each entity data management import to excel file. this is working.

If Copy into legal entity that Entity name is there, easy to data all Entity destination, this option not there in import.

I have the same problem. Accrual Schemes contain close to 200 records. I'm able to export, and then import to another legal entity. However, if i use the copy into legal entity method, 0 records are read from the source entity.
