
First time seeing this message. Anyone know what causes it, can't find here or in knowledge base.
I am waiting on a custom app to upgrade to the new system, so this is using Dynamics SL 7.0 Feature pack 1
Expecting to do the upgrade in early September, so need to have things working until then.

I have the same question (0)This message typically means that the client version on the workstation is not the same as the database level. this typically happens if you run the database maintenance process to upgrade the database but still have an older version of the client on the workstation. Try uninstalling and re-installing the client on the workstation. Be sure to run the client setup from the folder containing FP1. You can see what build level the client is at by double-clicking on the while space just above the cancel button on the login screen (yes, there is a invisible button in that location).
