Hoping someone could help/point me in the right direction.
We are currently using CRM 2013 Spring Release online. We currently manage user access through teams, as we find it easier to see who has what access. For Example we have a team called Sales Person and a team called Sales Person Super User. The Super User team has the SuperUser Profile attached to it. What I want to do is create a log when a User is added to or removed from the team. Ideally I would like a record to be created in a custom entity "Security Movements" so it shows date and time user was added/removed and by which user.
We currently have an Audit Trail for Accounts and Contacts. When an Account or Contact Record is opened, javascript updates a hidden yes/no field, this field being updated triggers a workflow that creates a record of the Account/Contact being opened. We do this as we have mulitple users for a record. This works fine, I have only added it here as I am trying to achieve a similar thing.
The custom entity would allow us to track User movements and the Security Profiles they have had over time. Looking at workflows there is no way to achieve this, so was wondering if some cleaver JS could help as fairly new to JS coding.
