Passing record id to child workflow

I have an on demand custom workflow that creates invoices from a legacy system data, which is working fine. What i want to do is pass the new invoice record id ( invoiceid ) to a child workflow

Or you might just create another workflow that would start on the create of the invoice rather than as a child workflow of that original on-demand workflow..

Pete,

You can't pass additional parameters inside workflows but what you can do is to use Action instead - you can both run it from workflow and pass additional parameters inside.
