Sending Email From Dynamics.

Hi All,

I have a scenario related to sending email from dynamics but the email that I have to select in From Field is not predefined set.
I noticed that to send an email from dynamics I have to select a record from SystemUser entity in From field. But in my case it is not logical to create a system User and then set that in From field and the send the email. Is there any way that we can use to set Contact in From field and then we can send email?

I also tried Power automate for this but to send email there a connection is required to be there that is again not possible.

Can any one suggest any other method for this or there is any configuration that I can use to achieve the scenario.
Any kind of help is appreciated.
Thanks.

In Dynamics 365, emails must have a "From" field populated with either a System User, Queue, or an approved Sender (like shared mailbox) — Contacts cannot be set as From.
    Why not?
    • Contacts are not valid senders in the system for security and delivery reasons.
    • Power Automate also requires an authenticated connection (license-backed) to send emails.
    Alternatives:
    • Use a Queue or Shared Mailbox with the desired name/email and send from it.
    • Customize with a plugin to set a "reply-to" address (but still from = system user or queue).
    • Use an external email service (like SendGrid) via API integration to send emails "from" any address.
    Summary:
You cannot set a Contact in the From field directly.
Use a Queue, Shared Mailbox, or external service if flexibility is needed.
