Deferral transactions cards access

In deferred revenue, our client receives a message   "You can't enter deferral transactions while the Retroactive Deferral Transaction window is open." message when a user is in Financial deferral cards and another user is trying to access sales deferral cards for example.  Is this "as designed" or is there a piece I'm missing.

    Hi Greg,

    It is not issue in your setup, the deferral windows are by design so. If Retroactive Deferral Transaction Entry window is open for one module, it cannot be opened in other module at same time.

    Rubal,  Thank you for your answer. I am not too familiar with the deferral cards in GP.  Do you believe this setup "by design" is logical?    Do you think one should access the deferral cards in different modules at the same time?  Do they affect one another?  Thank you.
