Microsoft Dynamics RMS (Archived)

can anyone tell me why HQ clients seem to always get stuck doing a sync, even though we have only 10 stores and 5 are syncing to one server and the other 5 stores sync to another store? This seems to happen almost everyday. Any suggestions would be great.

seems that everyday, one of our stores gets stuck syncing its data. Its only doing a simple push of daily transaction information and no updates to the database or anything. Its very odd that we seem to keep having this issue.

Help.

    Hello Todd,

    Thank you for your questions.

    Do you get any errors or warnings in the HQ Client?

    What version of RMS are you using?

    What version of SQL do the servers have installed? Have the latest service packs been applied?

    Have you tried deleting the QS*.tmp files from the temp folders of all computers using HQ Client / Server?

     

    1. Click on Start | Run

    2. Type in:

    CMD

    3. Click ok

    4. In the command prompt type:

    CD %temp%

    Press Enter

    DEL QS*.tmp

    Press Enter

    5. Reboot

    6. Repeat steps 1-5 on all computers using HQ Client / HQ Server
