I am currently working on a retail scenario within D365 and would appreciate some guidance on the best approach or the solution for allocating specific quantities of items to multiple Stores. Here's the situation: I have 100 jackets in the warehouse, and I want to allocate them as follows:
60 jackets to Store A
30 jackets to Store B
10 jackets to Store C
The allocation should be flexible, meaning if Store B requires more than 30 jackets, it should be allowed by a user’s decision, now when the Product planning job is run it will create the planned Transfer order according to Min/Max item coverage settings, but it should not firm it, since on the warehouse there is no more jackets available for Store B.
Is there a recommended process or solution within D365 to achieve this? Is there someone who is using some specific solution or enhancement that would support this kind of manual allocation while still maintaining overall inventory control?
Looking forward to any insights or suggestions! Thanks in advance.
