D365 CE - LEAD - date no longer shows in timeline

HI - in a LEAD the timeline used to show the date of the event, but it no longer does.  You can click  on the option to 'expand all records' and it will show it.  Is there a way to have this as the default?  We need to see the date and time of each entry - seems an update must have changed something
