AX2012 R3 Default Supply Order Type

I have read the documentation about eliminating the Item Type = BOM because items may be both purchased and manufactured.  So far, so good.  Where can I change the setting for the Default Order Type?  We do occasionally switch an item from manufactured to purchased, based upon the forecasted workload.

    Hi Lispyj,

It is under Release products form. Following is the path:

Product information management -> Common -> Released products -> Plan action pane tab, click Default order Settings button and change the order type field under General Tab.

Please verify and let me know if you have further queries.

    Thanks,

    Baber.

Thanks for the quick answer!  It is right there...where I have looked multiple times!!  I must have blinders on today.
