Email Activity in the Mobile

Hi,

 

I have created the unified app in dynamics 365 V9. When I access the unified app from the Mobile APP, I can create the appointment task etc but I cannot to create email from the mobile.

 

When I open the created email from the mobile I can see the record in the readonly format and also cannot see the send email button as shown in the below screenshots.

Also I have checked the email entity customization and read only is disabled for mobile as shown in the screenshot. Please let me know if I need to do anything else.

    Hi, 

    Actually You can't create email activity record like task on mobile app. But you can Start a call or email by Tap a phone number or email address to start a call or launch your email app.

    Did anybody get the answer for this yet? I am also facing the same issue.

    I need to ask something different though.....I understand that we are not able to "Add New" Email activity, but is there a way to just being able to access the already created Email in Edit Mode i.e. being able to make some changes to the Email Record and then

    1) Either Send it

    2) Or, Save it ...so that at least another user who uses Web App, can "Send" it!

    OK, my colleague from team found the answer.

    It seems that there will be no possibility to create mails from mobile app.

    I'm encountering the same problem. I can create all activities in Activities section, except from Mail.

    Has anyone got any tips on how to enable mails on Mobile App?

    Have you received any ideas from other forums/ channels? 
    I am encountering the same behaviour :(
