SOP Error 'This Document has been posted'

Hi All,

In one of my client place i found unposted SOP Transactions (Sales Invoices), when accessed from Sales Transaction Entry window it throws the error as 'This Document has been posted'.   When i check in the back end (SOP10100) i found records with BCHSOURC = ' *SalesEntry ' (pls note the *) and BAChNUMB field with user ID.

I have cleared dex_lock, and dex_session.
Also cleared SY00800 AND SY00801

In SOP10100, i updated BCHSOURC with 'Sales Entry' and a batch number in to BACHNUMB field.

But still when i access that particular record from Sales Transaction Entry window i get the same error.

Any idea to rectify this error?

your early reply will be highly appreciated.

Thanks & Regards

    Akbar,

    Can you remove * from BCHSOURC=*SalesEntry and try to access SOP transaction. ? Do you see other unposted Transaction with * or without * ?

    I think it will work when you remove * from SalesEntry field value .

    Please let me know problem is reslove or not.

    Thanks

    Sandip

    First and foremost, in order to fix this issue ALL USERS need to be out of GP. Once you have made sure everyone is out, run the following statements:

    USE DYNAMICS;

    GO

    TRUNCATE TABLE ACTIVITY;

    TRUNCATE TABLE SY00800;

    You may also be able to run an Automated Solution to fix this problem found at https://mbs.microsoft.com/customersource/support/selfsupport/automatedsolutions/automatedsolutions8minus.htm?printpage=false

    You may wish to read my article which addresses exactly this: http://www.vaidy-dyngp.com/2009/12/sop-this-document-has-been-posted-error.html

    But I am sure Sandip & Mariano have already provided you the right solution(s).
