When trying to set TFS link on LCS project settings, receiving an error saying that "User Story" for LCS workitem type Business processes - Requirements does not belong to the same group as its default value for this template Task.

Do not want to restore default mappings as it is saying that will delete all workitems.

Does anyone has an idea what can be wrong ?

The error message means that your current task type setup in ADO is not compatible with LCS.

You might need to use a different ADO project with LCS if you can't connect it to your current one.

It seems that you're trying to map user stories to tasks, which are two different things, therefore such a mapping isn't valid.
