Customer Credit Limit Warning

We are receiving "posting this shipment will cause the customer's balance to exceed their credit limit" warnings on customers that are well under their credit limit.  Some are getting the message when their TOTAL sales history does not exceed their credit limit (let alone unpaid invoices).  Something going on with this feature?

    Please remember that credit limit warnings are two fold

    1. Over credit limit - AR balance plus outstanding sales orders values are greater than credit limit

    2. Past Due Balance - AR balance has amounts that are not current.

    Hi, This looks like a custom feature. The message on the standard functions is shown below.

    "The customer's credit limit has been exceeded."

    In addition standard features can be set in My Notification with some filters.

    Can you explain how to make these "Define filter" options (fields to filter) for your own created "My Notification"? I can't find any documentation on that quite important part.

    Hi, This is used to specify conditions that trigger a notification. It is somewhat similar to Condition in Workflow.
