error saving duplicate detection rule

Hi everyone,

Need some "light" here. I´m tryin to create a duplicate detection rule. But when I save I get that known error saying to try again and communicate with Microsoft Comunity. Nothing in the Event Viewer, nothing in the trace log. I tried with custom entities, non custom entities...whatever.

    Hi Carola,

    Is your crm on premises?  If so, my guess is that you have a large duplicate detection table.  This is easily fixable, but you do need direct sql server access.  Pls see this blog:

    Hi Alex,

    Thanks for your reply.

    My CRM is on premise, but has no data at all so far. It's a CRM OOB, I imported customizations and for first data I tried to import I got this message.

    Can't publish workflows as well. I checked what the next post sugests, but everything seems to be ok.

    Do you have the latest and greatest update rollup installed?

    Check for errors in your app/system log
