Hi All,

I have an issue with the URL mentioned in the email which is sent after the completion of duplicate detection job. When clicked, it is redirected to an old url.

I have checked few links and was able to change the url in duplicate detection email template and now in email the updated link comes. But when I am clicking on the updated link it still goes to the old url. If I copy it and paste on the browser, the link works fine but obviously this is not the standard solution.

Please help me to resolve this.

Hi there,

You should modify the url in the related email template.

Hi Stephan,

Thanks for the suggestion.

As I mentioned, I have already modified the url in the email template. When the job is completed and I get the email, I can see the updated url is mentioned in the email. But my issue is when I click on the hyperlink it redirects to the old url.

When I hover my mouse over the hyperlink the text shown is different than which is actually seen in the email.

Unfortunately, the solution provided in the thread helped me partially but not completely. I am not sure if I missed any step.

Hi,

I think you should modify the hyperlink and not only the text.

Hi Stefan,

Thanks. I am able to update the hyperlink now but when I click on the link, it goes to no record and shows error invalid argument.

I selected ";!System Job:System Job;}" and then clicked hyperlink. After that another line got added to the hyperlink and it got updated.

Please let me know if apart from this I need to omit or add some text before selecting and click hyperlink.

You should select the whole hyperlink and then click the Hyperlink button to edit it. And be sure that the "href" part will generate/be a valid url.

Hi Stefan,

I did the same selected the text and clicked hyperlink.

But still when I go to the url, it shows invalid argument error. Can I create the url again from scratch? I am not sure how to populate {System Job;} in yellow.
