Ad space rental management in CRM

Hi.

Im new in how to setup CRM for a small company but anyway I have to do it. I hope I am asking my question in a right place.

so here it is. I am configuring CRM for a small company (website whose main products are advertisement banners). In order to do this I created the products of banners. but I am looking for a way so CRM can let me know how long of each banner position's contract is remaining and inform the sales force that a certain position will empty soon.

In essence I don't know hot to involve time with products. I think rental companies are doing similar.

Best.

    Hi,

You are asking the question in a right place however your question is not so much clear.  As it is not a yes/ no questions, you would need to share some more details about how have you customized the CRM for their client.

If you haven't set it up, you could store the details of each banner contract in a separate entity and from there you can identify if there is any product (Banner) available or not. You could have some status on that entity i.e. active/ expired and set these once the contract is expired. You could write some automated process as well.

So any product for which there is no active banner contract, that product (Banner) is available. You could also report all the Banner Contract which are about to expire i.e. where the Contract Expiry Date is next week/ month etc.

Like I said above, you question is not a question, it is requirement which could have different ways to achieve it. You could stat implementing your CRM and then ask specific question limiting to the context

    Hope this helps.

Hi and thank you for your answer as it helped me understand what I want!

I think I should rephrase my question like this:

I want my products(banners) have a unit of day(or week or month in that sense). so when I sell a banner I can define for how long I sold it. then I can use the things you said about availability and the rest of issues.

hope to hear from you again.

    thanks
